It is February, we are in the final stretch, it is never easy. We dealing with a couple of challenges.

The Fire Suppression Sprinkler system pump We got it back form the service company in reasonable time, which upon retunr to the Grotto we did not delay in reinstalling the pump. arrrrrrgggghhhh! a drop of water under the shaft seal. Upon further investigation we had to pull the pump out again and return the pump tot he Service company. The mail seal, a new one had failed and needed to be replaced. What can we say it can happen.

The final work will be completed on the Smoke/CO2 Detectors this week of February 12th. Upon its completion we can submit the final requirements to obtain of Bed & Breakfast allowed to open for business, with exception to the Aquatics center the pool and hot tubs.

The Alberta Liquor and Gaming has sent us e-mail, advising that we are on the list for our final inspection to obtain our liquor service licensing. We are pleased.

The Roundhouse Grotto has now achieved all the Certifications required to allow the RHG to Open. Opening the doors of the RHG still is going to take a considerable amount of work. We want to make sure that each guests experience staying at the Roundhouse Grotto will be a memorable one.

THE NEXT STEP Aquatic Centre Certification. As we determine what is required by Alberta and Rocky View Safety Codes and Alberta Health Services we will update this blog.
